Today has been sponsored by the letter "C" and the word of the day is cancer.
Let me tell you it's something that happens to other people but not to you or your family and then it does and every third word you think is cancer. (excuse the run on sentence but my thoughts have all been run on the last 48 hours.) So my advice, do what you need to do to get your check-ups so you can find it early because it can happen to anyone.

In that picture of Brett he is pulling such a Sean face!! If I didn't know any better I would say that it was Sean. Anyway, my thoughts have been very much on you two this past week ever since I found out about the situation. The biologist in me definitly showed her face and I have been researching and recalling everything I know about the dreaded "C" word and Brett's kind in particular. Knowing more about something always calms me down in challenging situations. Know that we have been praying for you both and are hoping for the best. We love you and are looking forward to seeing you this weekend.
Okay woman. We have only heard snippets here and there. How bad is it? How advanced is it? Craig and I are pretty concerned here...and very uninformed. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE call me.
Our prayers are with you. We know from experience that hard times can be huge blessings, but that NO words of encouragement will make the pain of trials go away. I am however a FIRM believer in the power of a good chocolate chip cookie.
